Are the administrative districts of Moscow a distrcit or an area?

The task is: to determine the coordinates to which administrative-territorial unit of the city the point belongs.

Accordingly, the request is formed with the attribute: geocoder_kind=district

But during the experiments, it turned out that the points inside the NAO and TAO give nothing to such a request, for example, a request for a point whose coordinates are given by Yandex. Maps for the request "Novomoskovsky Administrative District" (55.558121, 37.370724):

Https://api-maps.yandex.ru/services/search//v1/?callback=id_152207300832331696006&text=55.558121%2C37.370724&format=json&rspn=0&lang=ru_RU&token=7df388b84269acd1dc9ca38e72a98f2d&type=geo&properties=addressdetails&geocoder_sco=latlong&geocoder_kind=district&origin=jsapi2Geocoder&spn=&sign=173791618

In the course of the experiments, it turned out that the NAO and TAO, unlike all other AO in Moscow, are kind: area, while all other AO are kind: district

Is this a mistake, or was it meant to be?.. and now you will have to crutch your butt with this information?

This hierarchy of address components is related to the addressing rules in Moscow and New Moscow:

  • In old Moscow, the district is not directly part of the address (houses are addressed simply by the street and the city, for example, " Moscow, Lva Tolstogo Street, 16")
  • in New Moscow, the districts also include settlements that are an integral part of the address, for example, "Moscow, Sosenskoye settlement, 99 Alexandra Monakhova Street"

To pass the correct message This logic is used in the address objects of the Geocoder, and the change in typing described by you appears-this is a reflection of the actual situation with addresses in Moscow.
