Coordinates of the regions of the Russian Federation
I noticed a very necessary thing in Google - it knows the coordinates of the borders of almost all regions/cities of the Russian Federation.
But, alas, you can't tear them out of there - the borders are drawn directly in the pictures, and there is no time (and no desire) to parse the pictures.
Tell me, is there a public directory of polygons of regions-cities of the Russian Federation?

OpenStreetMap data in XML and PBF formats - if you know how to work with*. osm files, it will not be difficult for you to pull out the necessary relationships. Detailed information...
UPD: There is also a global database on borders. There are data of different levels of detail on administrative and state borders in different formats (including Google Earth kml).
If someone needs coordinates in the JSON format, there is a ready-made on GitHubGist (a code snippet sharing service). Of course, there is a huge number of lines and it does not seem reasonable to cite them here.
