How to adjust the speed of the 3 pin fans on the housing?

I have an Asus ROG Strix Z270e motherboard, there are fans on the case (3pin) and they work at full capacity(without the same effect if you simply connect the fan to the power supply and do not connect it to the motherboard). Is it possible to adjust the fan speed? I connect it to this connector(see the picture)enter a description of the image here

To control the 3-pin cooler, go to the BIOS and select DC instead of PWM for CHA_FAN2 in the QFan Control settings. This is in the manual ASUS STRIX Z270E GAMING BIOS Manual on page 10, point 1.2.3 QFan Control.

And does 3pin not mean that 2 contacts are under voltage, 1 for collecting data on revolutions and 1 for controlling revolutions, i.e. 3pin does not have such a possibility as controlling revolutions, either software or hardware.

Therefore, you can control it manually by setting the resistance. Sold adapters-rheostats, which perform this function.

(like this, in the sense of the gasket between the fan and the connector on the motherboard) http://www.price-altai.ru/uploads/900000/7500/907958/p17hjb3att1m5q3op1pvc1sgv1jos1.jpg
