How to run Lenovo T440P from a USB flash drive?

Recorded three times on a Debian 9 flash drive using Unetbootin, dd, and cp.

I start the laptop with F12 pressed, select USB, a black screen appears for a second, then again a window with a choice of devices. With hdd, it starts normally.

What could be wrong? The flash drive is working, with the help of it I put Debian 9, which is now on the laptop.

The flash drive is formatted in FAT32.

Solved the problem.

Before that, I indicated the number on the way, something like this:

Dd if=путь.iso of=/dev/sdb1

It was necessary to specify something like this:

Dd if=путь.iso of=/dev/sdb
