I am using WAMP to run a local server and sometimes I want to show my projects to some friends, I have already configured port 80 on the router with my IPV4 and everything else. When I do the port tests on some site says that the port is open but blocked, and when I disable the Firewall works normal, but I will not leave the Firewall disabled.

I Use Windows 8

Open a port in the Windows Firewall

In this case it would be necessary to open a port in the Windows firewall:

  1. swipe from the right edge of the screen, tap Search (or, if you are using a mouse, point to the upper right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down and click Search), type firewall in the search box and tap or click Firewall Windows.
  2. Tap or click advanced settings . Be possible that you will receive a request to provide an administrator password or to confirm your Choose.
  3. in the Windows Firewall dialog box with advanced security , in the left pane, tap or click input Rules, and in the left pane, tap or click right, tap or click New Rule .
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

The rule in this case would be to release the port 80 , if you have kept the default of the Apache.
