Ubuntu 10.04 how to open eglibc-2.11.1. tar. xz

Downloaded the package eglibc-source_2. 11. 1-0ubuntu7. 7_all. deb (d. b. sources from http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/lucid/libs)

Launched gdebi-gtk in ubuntu, opened it, got /usr/src/glibc/eglibc-2.11.1. tar. xz

I hope so .tar with libc sources.

root@avp-ubu1:/usr/src/glibc# tar xzf eglibc-2.11.1.tar.xz 
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format

Question: how do I unpack it ?
