MasterPage as its name says is a Master Page, used as the basis for other WebForms, for example, you can create WebForms with or without master page, if you select with MasterPage The New WebForm will be part of the content of Master. It is usually used in cases where you have a standard page with header or other items and add the WebForms using your MasterPage.
