You can help. I need python Kivy to determine the length and height of the phone's display to adapt applications, since the proportions are known. Is there any way to do this?

I have always used 72 dpi in my images, but currently this standard has been presenting low definition thanks to a variety of ... with different resolutions (notebook, tablet, smartphones and etc). What would be the recommended DPI to be used these days?
