Opening recovery mode at startup

Before writing a command to change the password, you need to do

mount -no remount,rw /

And then

passwd имя_юзера

Changing the password without terminal

Click the rightmost icon in the menu bar and select System Settings.

Open your Accounts.

Click the sign next to Password.

This sign looks like a series of dots or squares, if the password is already there.

Enter the current password, and then the new password. Enter the new password again in the Confirm Password field.

Click Edit.

You go to the settings, there will be a control panel, there will be a tab to change the password, there you change it.
